Day 113 (19th October) Moscow

We drove the last 30 miles into Moscow and found the “Moscow Holiday Hotel” quite easily. Its a very nice hotel with parking and a very friendly manager who changed dollars into roubles for us. We got a bus from just outside the hotel to Polezhaiskaya metro station and ten took the purple line to Kuznetskii Bridge station which is connected to Lubyanka station, from which it is a short walk to Red Square. We arrived at the Kremlin ticket office too late to have a good tour of the Kremlin so we returned to the hotel past the Bolshoi ballet theatre and the Lubyanka Prison.
