We spent most of the day on the Moscow metro touring seven of the early stations which were beautifully decorated. They were: Novoslobodskaya (1952), Kievskaya (1937), Arbatskaya (1935), Ploshchad Revolyutsii (1938), Kropotkinskaya (1935), Novokuznetskaya (1943) and Mayakovskaya (1938: Government offices installed here during WW2, Stalin made several public speeches).
