Day 74 (27th July) Beijing

My idea was to take the metro to the International Airport the next morning and bok tickets for the plane to London. Jennifer had a brilliant idea: why not ask the hotel to do it for us. We were passed to the splendid Mister Coolio who spoke excellent English learned from listening to hip-hop music, and he did everything for us. He booked the flight tickets and when we mentioned the cost of staying in his hotel, he made a reservation at the Novotel, a 10-minute walk away through Beijing’s top fashionable shopping district. Wufingjing. So we booked in and then spent an afternoon shopping.
