The first town on the route is a sweet little place called Borisoglebsk, an ancient town named after Saints Boris and Gleb. I was able to change dollars for roubles at a Sberbank, and we continued driving to Volgograd. We had a delicious couple of delicious meals at the Zamok hotel and we spent the night in the car park.
