Day 176, 18th November, Kotyayevka

We reached the Russian border two days early, and had to hang around because our Russian visa specified that we had to enter on 20th November. More precisely, we arrived at the exit point from Kazakhstan which is some distance from the Russian entry point, but preferred to find a quiet place in the desert away from the main road and the prying eyes of the Kazakh police who, to be fair, hadn’t bothered us at all.

Two thousand miles of this funny little plant
Hit another cow and ate it.
Our sleeping place at Kotyayevka. Woken only by unquiet spirits.
